I'm Kerin Hayden Goedert.
I'm a Michigan Associate Broker with Epique Realty, a former AP Environmental Science teacher, and the third generation of my family to work in real estate and construction.
My market
My core market is Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Wayne County, Lenawee County, and the broader Southeast Michigan corridor, with rural Michigan work when the transaction calls for it. An Ann Arbor transaction is not the same as a rural property transaction, and Wayne County brings its own set of issues entirely. My job is to understand the transaction in front of me instead of treating every property like it follows the same script.
My experience
My documented real estate production goes back to 2019. I've worked with both buyers and sellers, with a listing-dominant transaction history, across city, suburban, and rural markets. I also come from a family with a multigenerational background in real estate and construction (Goedert Real Estate). That affects how I look at a property — I don't only see what a house is today, I'm used to looking at what needs to happen next.
Third generation
Real estate and construction run in my family. I didn't show up in 2021 with a lead subscription and a script. I grew up around the work — what a house actually needs, not just what a listing photo can hide. That background shapes how I look at a property that isn't ready yet, and it's a big part of why I'm not afraid to take on a transaction that doesn't fit neatly into a normal script.
What I'm proud of
It isn't a sales number. It's this: I've helped people who thought it was impossible to change their living situation during times of extreme need. A person may know they need to move and still have no idea how they're going to make it happen. That's when I want to be useful.
Where I'm strong, and where I'm still building
Marketing is one of my strongest skills, especially video. I've been publishing real estate video since 2006 and my YouTube channel has passed two million views. My business has been built primarily through referrals and social media — I don't buy leads. What I'm actively working on is more consistent follow-up and more proactive contact with past clients. Both things can be true about the same business.
Beyond real estate
I hold two master's degrees (M.Ed.²), I'm a former stand-up comic with SAG-AFTRA credits, and I write about how AI is changing real estate practice under the name The Grey. I call myself an AI Conservationist — I think the tools are often genuinely useful and I also think a lot of judgment calls in a real transaction still need a human who's done a few hundred of them.
